DAY 1 : Marrakech - High Atlas - Ouarzazate
Our Marrakech desert tours begins with an early pickup from the airport or your hotel in Marrakech. Then, drive across the magnificent High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. Stops will be made for panoramic views of the stunning scenery.
Following that, we will visit the famed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. Afortified settlement designated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kasbah has appeared in various movies, such as Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy. In addition, there are television shows such as Game of Thrones. Following that, we travel to Ouarzazate, often known as The Gate of the desert. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
DAY 2 :Ouarzazate - Dades Valley - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we tour Ouarzazate. First, we go to the Atlas Studios, where some classic films were shot. Then explore theTaourirt Kasbah, a historic fortified mud castle. Following that, we head towards Agdz and jion the Draa Valley, Morocco longest river. We will drive along it, stopping to take in panoramic vistas of palm tree groves, beautiful Kasbah, and Berber towns. Free hour for lunch at Nkob or Alnif.
After lunch, we continue to the Sahara desert of Merzouga via Rissani. When we reach the Erg chebbi dunes, you will swap to camels to cross the Sahara desert. A halt will be made for you at the top of a large dune to watch the spectacular sunset. Then proceed to the camp, which combines traditional nomadic tents with the elegance of the hotel. At the campsite, you can listen to Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire under the open sky of shining stars. Dinner and overnight stay at the campiste.
DAY 3 : Merzouga Desert - Rissani - Todra gorges - Dades Valley
Wake up early to see the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert. You have free time for breakfast before riding camels back to Merzouga, where the driver awaits. We leave the desert to visit Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet.
Rissani remains an important trading center in the region, with a thriving souk on tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
After a tour around Rissani souk, we continue to Erfoud to visit one of the fossilized marble workshops. We next drive via Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has cut out a magnificent canyon through the mountains, resulting in a steep red cliff-sided canyon. These gorges are perfect for rock climbing. Feel free to roam through the gorges and enjoy the scenery. Free time for lunch at a restaurant. DAY 4: Dades Valley - Skoura - High Atlas - Marrakech
On the last day of your Marrakech desert tours 4-day, we go to Kalaa Magouna to view the Rose Valley. The Rose Festival take place in May. Locals sell a variety of rose items, including perfumes, rose items, rose water, oil, and cosmetics. Then we drive by other Kasbah, including Amridil Kasbah, which is encircled by a palm tree forest in Skoura. We arrive in Ouarzazate and have free time for lunch in town. Then we drive to Marrakech over the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and High Atlas Mountains. Finally, we will get to your hotel or the airport in Marrakech. end of the tour.
